FAQ: B-FAB Activities
What are the B-FAB activities for children?
Hawaiian dance, modern & Filipino folk dances has been introduced to children to keep our Filipino cultures & traditions.

What are the event B-FAB celebrated annually?
The Filipino Santacruzan. In Britain we are the first organiser of the Filipino Santacruzan and we are also one of the organiser of the first Filipino Santacruzan in York Barrio Fiesta last July 8, 2006 & recently we are heavily involved organising the first Yorkshire Barrio fiesta & Santacruzan in Leeds (July 6,2008).

Do B-FAB join the Bradford Council's event?
We are always taking part of the annual Lord Mayor’s Carnival parade in Bradford we showcased our Filipino costumes & folk dances. We also invited to different community organisations & other Bradford Council's events.

Is B-FAB taking involved with the Filipino Barrio Fiesta
Of course we do! we always helped & take involve of organising the Filipino Barrio fiestas, a lot of Filipino organisations in the UK contacted us but due to short notice we don't have chance to organise to participate to them.

We've been heavily involved in York's First Santacruzan 2006. The Stockton-On-Tees First Barrio Fiesta 2007 we showcased our Filipino folk dances & Leeds 1st Barrio Fiesta last 2008. We had our first ever Bradford Barrio Fiesta last July 5, 2009 @ the Lady hill Park Allerton.




How B-FAB promote its organisation to recognise our Filipino community.
We are representing our Filipino community by attending meetings with various organisations that could help us access all resources, trainings, funding & legal advice to help our needs as a community and recognise us as one of the ethnic minorities.

Do B-FAB integrates with the local community?
Yes! we do integrate to the local people with their community activities, we believe by integrating to them we build up community cohesion, respect & brotherhood.



Do B-FAB helps fundraising for all the victims of national disaster in the Philippines?
Yes! we do, The PNA-UK & B-FAB held the first Tagalog Mass here in Bradford dedicated to all the victims of the calamity in Leyte(Mudslide) last 2006. We also contributed small amount of money to the disaster in Bicol few yrs. ago. Last November this year 2009 we sent 15 Extra-large & large boxes full of relief goods to the typhoon victims of Ondoy & Pepeng thru Manna Sha'meyn Cargo.

Charity Fundraising or help to the community
Yes we do! We do fundraising from our fellow filipinos to contribute monetary donations to our fellow filipino when one of their families or parent died in the Philippines.

We also help to accommodate the GXP youth 2 times when they host the project here in Bradford.

We also help Leeds raised fund for Bantay Bata 163 last 2007.

We also helped Dom Formanez to raise fund for her medical treatment.
