FILIPINO BARRIO FIESTA ON SEPT.13-14 2008

As initially planned, the Barrio Fiesta Sunday parade will still go ahead.
All arrangements and parade plans will remain the same with some additional
perks as outlined below.

It is in this regard that we are again asking your further confirmation if
you and your group will still participate in this sunday parade. We have
made arrangements with the organizers that parade participants will then be
allowed to pitch their own group tents/ marquee within Manila Avenue (for
publicity and member recruitment purposes only, no selling allowed) and will
further be allowed to display their group banner in the park grounds.

We have also been asked that those setting up tents pledge as much
volunteers as much as possible to act as Fiesta stewards. Fiesta stewards
simply are volunteers who will make sure that our community celebration will
remain as safe, fun and as peaceful as possible. Everybody can be fiesta
stewards and can continue about your own group activities at the same time
as being stewards. We only need to know the number of people you can provide
and the name of the team leader from your group.

If you or your group want to take this opportunity to be seen, heard and to
enjoin others to your cause, please let us know as soon as possible so we
can send you more information about the parade and about being fiesta
stewards.

We need to know if you you are still interested in joining the parade and in
being fiesta stewards.
