 ADVISORY: DONATIONS FOR TYPHOON “ONDOY” (Ketsana) Last Saturday, 26 September, 2009, tropical storm Ondoy, (International name: Ketsana), caused flooding in Cainta, Marikina, Rizal and other parts of Metro Manila. Bringing with it a record-breaking amount of rainfall, Ondoy (Ketsana) spawned floods which led to loss of lives, devastation of properties, and massive evacuation of people. The Philippine Embassy in London is coordinating relief efforts and providing information on how individuals can assist affected communities in the country. Below is a list of contact agencies where donations in cash or in kind can be officially accepted. Let us all join hands to help the victims of tropical storm "Ondoy".
