Sir,
Good afternoon, Thanks for your concerned. Due to the points system & the increased of the salary of carers (£7.02)their employer cannot affordto pay them at this rate so the employer would terminate their employment
after they finished their contract.
These 3 kababayans of ours are vulnerable to all kind of conman & fixers if we don't support them. I advised them to pop up at the Citizen Advice Bureaux for more professional advice about the agent who solicited monies
from them to find a new employer. I told one of them that I will bring them to Bradford Law Centre once they need solicitors for their employment & immigration matter.
Below are the respondents & concerned fellow Filipinos who showed support with regards to this matter.
hello wilfred,
i have just opened my email after being away for 3weeks.
i am afraid we have already employed 6 staff and my manager is not keen really in applying for work permits because a few has been put down. i think you are better off asking marjorie of ONTO,if you know her because
she has a colleague who deals with work permits. pls call me at work 588288/584646 tomorrow 7-2.30pm so i can give you her phone number. sorry for the delayed response.
marilou.
(This Mariloue A. a Deputy Manager of one of the Nursing Home in Shipley.)
Sir,
In response to your appeal re: carers requiring new employer, could you please let us know the reason why their employment contract with current
employer will not be renewed.
Also, agencies are not allowed to solicit money from jobseekers in exchange for a job, in this case a promised job. They normally charge the employer of their services however I am assuming that the agents are based
in the UK.
Regards,
Jay (a concerned pinoy & a member of this organisation)

Hi Wilfred
This nursing home prefers Filipino carers, write to the owner. She don't know me personally, I only ask my friend who works there and he advised to write directly to
the owner. See what she say. I hope this helps.
